Trying out mirrorless camera...

Since the announcement of the Sony A7iii (ILCE-7M3) last year, I have been tempted to test this mirrorless technology. Last month, I decided to order it with the Sigma MC11 in order to use my Canon lenses. Updated the firmware of the converter, and tested the AF with all the lenses. All reported good with this Hybrid configuration.

This weekend, I was able to take it out and capture some Sunset shots. Not the ideal setup and subject, since I shoot mostly family and portrait pictures, which I can wait to use it as my primary camera…

The Okihara Family in an adventure!

Excited to photograph the Okihara Family for the second year in a row… this time, we headed to the Wa'ahila Ridge State Recreation Area, where the weather was au rendez vous! and the lights coming through the trees provided some great background…

It was an great adventure to walk through this Xmas scenery and capture those moments…
