Way overdue

After using this tripod for over 10 years, it was slightly hard to untwist the legs to extend or retract them from my last session. Even though, it has always been cleaned after each session, signs of wear and tear started to show up.

I simply took it apart, cleaned with water/ soap, re-assembled it, and added some grease.

Trying out mirrorless camera...

Since the announcement of the Sony A7iii (ILCE-7M3) last year, I have been tempted to test this mirrorless technology. Last month, I decided to order it with the Sigma MC11 in order to use my Canon lenses. Updated the firmware of the converter, and tested the AF with all the lenses. All reported good with this Hybrid configuration.

This weekend, I was able to take it out and capture some Sunset shots. Not the ideal setup and subject, since I shoot mostly family and portrait pictures, which I can wait to use it as my primary camera…

Shot with Canon 17-40L.

HDR - 3 exposures.

After Golden hour…

Kaka'ako Street Arts

Walked around Kaka'ako area this morning, and looked around the development over the past couple years. This is really changing the landscape with new buildings, places to eat and some really nice arts on the walls.

Please enjoy the scenery!
