Glenorchy

From Te Anau, we headed to Queenstown by stopping by Glenorchy, about 30min outside of town. Another popular place crowded with tourists from around the world.

After a short walk, it was time to setup and enjoy the scenery…

We decided to venture more outside the park through a path leading to another view closer to the lake.

Another rest stop… inhaling the cold air and breeze…

I wonder if this plane could have saved us some driving time… :D

See ya next time!

The Chasm

On our way back from Milford Sound, we made a stop at the Chasm, a short hike to discover another river where the stones rushed from the downstream carved out the bedrocks along the path…

A closer look at the pot holes…

Another Kea friend in the parking lot.

Milford Sound - Part Two

While the boat was cruising around the lake and approaching the mountains, we were able to get a closer look at the waterfalls.

It did not matter if everyone was getting wet, the views were unique and the cold water was refreshing!

The water falling on the rocks where the sound of nature was louder than the engine of the boat…

Such a glacier feeling…

Leaving behind a trail of cloudiness… Mahalo!
